Corporate Counselling
Services
Companies are increasingly being held responsible for their employee's
psychological well-being with guidelines laid down in Government Health
and Safety recommendations. Work-related stress, depression and
exhaustion all reduce employee productivity and job satisfaction and
have high personal and business cost. Much of personal self worth is
measured in terms of work success.
Recent research shows that two out of three people at work have a
mental health problem, but managers lack the necessary skill-set to
respond adequately to these problems. Speedy and effective intervention
reduces staff absence and increases morale and may ultimately improve
performance by teaching new skills to deal with mental health issues.
Practical, realistic and effective treatment is a major goal, with less
emphasis on the past than on current coping strategies and lifestyle
factors. Mental health fitness is as important a goal as physical
fitness.
I can implement psychological programmes
to fit the needs of your employees and corporate structure
by training managers to identify mental health problems or
by personally implementing suitable solutions. I generally
work the South-East of England in locations such as Haywards
Heath, Hove, Brighton and Cobham, but can travel further if
required.
Group training for executives and other staff in present day stress and
change managment techniques are also available.
