Introduction
Anxious? Lonely? Alone? Depressed? Overwhelmed? Stressed? Misunderstood? Stuck in a repetitive cycle? Family issues? Gender issues? Lost a loved one? Bereaved? Unable to resolves issues on your own? Low self-esteem? Feeling down? Finding it hard to cope? Pressure of work? Issues with colleagues? Weight concerns?
Life is challenging!
Counselling can offer you the opportunity of looking at the issues influencing your life and by taking time out to explore these in more detail, allow you the opportunity of working towards your aims and objectives and potentially open up alternative avenues of thought and behaviour.
We are all different and we all have differing concerns and issues. We all meet challenges in different ways – but by working together we can gain insight and understanding and begin to move forward.
My practice
I am a qualified Person Centred counsellor
and a member of the BACP, British
Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am NHS Praxis
trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and am Cruse
Bereavement trained. I abide by the Ethical
Framework for Good Practice in counselling and psychotherapy.
I work face-to-face with individuals both on a long and short
term basis in locations such as Haywards Heath, Hove, Brighton
and Cobham. The length of therapy depends on the issues you
wish to address and the way you and I choose to work together.
The first session is an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to counselling and for you and I to agree how we will work together.
